Mark Kosakowski is an Alpine Vice President and acts as the company’s Senior Oceanographer and Commercial Manager.  As such, Mr. Kosakowski is responsible for working with clients to develop and plan field programs and to respond to RFPs for geophysical, geotechnical, hydrographic, and environmental programs.  As a senior manager, his primary focus is to provide customers with direct support and assist with the project development, project scopes and work plans. 

Mr. Kosakowski has over 35 years’ experience, starting in 1988 as a field oceanographer.  In that time Mr. Kosakowski has specialized in design support of numerous wind farms, power plants, power and telecommunications cables, wastewater outfalls, environmental impact assessments, and marine resource development.  His expertise includes coastal/estuarine/riverine ecology & hydrodynamics, sediment transport processes and water quality evaluations, acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of bathymetric, oceanographic & limnological data, planning & implementing geophysical remote sensing surveys and geotechnical coring operations, industrial health and safety programs, and laboratory experience in standard methods, USEPA and USACE methodology.

Mark lives in Connecticut and enjoys outdoor activities including fly fishing.
