Alpine recently completed a geophysical, geotechnical and environmental survey for TRC Environmental Corporation (TRC) related to Anbaric Transmission’s Vermont Green Line project in Lake Champlain. The proposed HVDC cable crosses approximately 40 miles of the lake from Beekmantown, NY to Ferrisburgh, VT.
Alpine will be joining its parent company, Gardline Marine Sciences Ltd (Gardline) at Oceanology 2016 from March 15th through March 17th.
In September, Alpine participated in the AWEA Offshore Windpower Conference & Exhibition at the Baltimore Convention Center. Alpine’s President, Rob Mecarini, was co-chair of the event and the Alpine team attending manned an exhibit booth.
Robert Mecarini, President of Alpine Ocean Seismic Survey, Inc. announced three key promotions: Leonardo Gherardi to Executive Vice President, Mark Kosakowski to Vice President and Jenny Hallahan to Senior Project Manager.
By conducting both MMO and PAMS in conjunction, limiting factors such as poor weather conditions, background noise, non-acoustic animals or non-detectable vocalizations can be overcome, meaning your survey can be carried out during 24 hour operations, allowing a greater range of freedom in survey operations.
